About the Garden

Old tools from our time in the UK

We collected a lot of old garden tools when we lived for a short while in the UK. Bringing them back was a problem which was solved by us buying an old church pew and then wrapping the tools up tightly and attaching them to the pew which came out by sea.

I do use a few of the old specialist tools but we can buy new tools made in the old fashioned way these days and joy of joys they are made with stainless steel so do not need the constant upkeep of the old steel tools.
