Faced with a few old rusted trays from our early hotel days, I was loathe to throw them out or replace them with some modern ones from the shops so I decided to cut out pictures of objects from magazines and decoupage them onto a newly painted surface.

I now use these for a quick clearing of the table when there is not much to remove or for serving drinks when just a small tray is needed.
